Birth control
We provide professional contraceptive consultations. Even if you are not (yet) a client with us and want an IUD or want information about contraception, you can contact us.
After the pregnancy, we will provide information about birth control during the last check-up in your first week after birth. We will talk about your previous experiences with birth control. We discuss how your cycle was before pregnancy. After this, we will discuss together at which form of contraception best suits you and your lifestyle.
We place intra uterine devices (copper and hormone), Implanon (hormone rod in your arm) and prescribe the pill.
If you want a contraceptive with hormones, we will always first take an anamnesis to see if it suits your health. Hormones are not recommended for some diseases or medication use. We therefore want to know your medical history first. Once we have found a suitable contraceptive, we will make an appointment to prescribe and/or place it.
