From an early age I dreamed of becoming a midwife. I couldn’t believe my luck when I was able to start training as a midwife at the Midwifery Academy Rotterdam immediately after graduating high school. This was a home game for me as I am a born and raised in Rotterdam myself.

During my studies I became more and more enthusiastic about the profession of midwifery. Not only during my internships I was able to supervise many births, but also during my work as a parturition assistant at the Sophia birth center. Here I have seen many babies born in the bath. I therefore couldn’t wait to start working independently as a midwife and immediately after graduating I started working at Verloskundig Centrum Schiedam.

I enjoy my work and find the diverse and multicultural client population at Verloskundig Centrum Schiedam very enjoyable and challenging. I love the urban bustle and unpredictability of the profession, every day is different!

Because of my urban roots and love for a busy working day, you might not expect that I like to be outside in nature in my spare time. There I can relax optimally and fully recharge myself to be able to guide you again with great enthusiasm during the pregnancy, delivery and postpartum period. I look forward to meeting you during this beautiful and special time in your life!
