An IUD is placed in your uterus, which can sometimes be painful. This is especially the case for women who have never given birth before. We recommend taking two paracetamol one hour before the placement. We always make an ultrasound before and after the placement. This is not reimbursed by insurance, but we think it is very important. That’s why we offer this for free with your appointment of placement.
After the placement, we will schedule a follow-up telephone check to see how you feel about the IUD. If you have any questions or complaints before that time, you can of course call us at any time!
